If you know the Snapchat username of your colleague, you can easily find this person and add into your friends’ list.

Follow these steps and you will learn several methods how you can do it:

1. If you are on the camera screen, type in a person’s username into a search bar. Once you find the person, tap the Add button.
2. Actually, you may take similar actions and find a person from your Snapchat profile page. In this case, press on the Add Friends section, type in a person’s username into a search bar and hit the Add button in order to insert this person into your friends’ list.
3. However, if you have a person’s Snapcode, you may click on the ghost icon in the top-right corner, select that person’s Snapcode image and tap the Add Friend button. That’s it!

Although Snapchat doesn’t have the “Add Nearby Friends” function, but there is another way how you can find Snapchat friends near you.

Follow these steps and you will figure out how you can do it:

1. Go to the Snapchat camera screen and swipe down in order to open the Snap Map.
2. Once the Snap Map opens, you will see a lot of blue lights on the map. If you press on the blue light, you will see the Snapchat stories that have been uploaded by other users around that location.
3. Keep in mind that sometimes Snapchat users publish their Snapcode images or mention usernames in their stories. In this case, you will be able to add them into your Snapchat friends’ list. That’s it!
